ABOUT US

Bedworth Singers was formerly Bedworth Choral Society and was founded in April 1974 by Gerald Haigh and Bill Evans,  head and deputy head teachers at Canon Maggs School.  Most of the members were either teachers or parents of children at the School.

Bedworth Singers now consists of people of all ages and backgrounds.  No auditions are required - just a desire to sing with like-minded people and the opportunity to sing solo and in small groups!  We are a friendly group who just enjoy making music. We are eager to welcome new members in all voice ranges and all ages and if you or your friends are interested and would like more information please contact Vicky Woodward by clicking here.

We perform all types of music including oratorios and music from the shows.  We raise money for a number of charities including the Mary Ann Evans Hospice.

Rehearsals take place at Canon Maggs School, Derwent Road, Bedworth, CV12 8RT each Thursday (usually during term time) from 7.30 - 9.30 pm.

Subscriptions are reviewed annually at A.G.M. (currently £45 p.a.).  Payment may be made annually or at the start of each term.  New members are allowed one free term before paying any subscription.

All music is purchased using choir funds and remains the property of the Bedworth Singers.  Copies are loaned free of charge to members.
